Step 1 is to make sure that you're using the latest version of WhatsApp. Let's get that taken care of right away!
You can change the wallpaper for all chats, by going to Settings > Chats > Chat Wallpaper
In Chat Wallpaper, you can browse through different options or pick a wallpaper from your camera roll for all chats. And if you don't like the selection, it's easy to undo.
To reset, just tap the Reset button on the same screen, and all your chats will go back to the default wallpaper. It's as simple for single chats too. Keep tapping to see!
To customise each chat, just open a chat, and go into its settings by tapping the name or the '?' button on Android, and tap Wallpaper.
The rest of the process is exactly the same as changing all wallpapers, just find a wallpaper you like and select it. Reset is the same too.
You can see two different chats here at the same time ? the first still uses the default wallpaper, and only the second has our selected wallpaper.
