Another take on folding phones brings together tablets and smartphones in one single package, like the Huawei Mate X.
This kind of design is obviously great for switching between calls and streaming movies, but it adds more weight, of course.
If Motorola has shown what a retro foldable looks like, then Samsung has updated the design with a compact flip phone.
This design allows the phone to be much more compact and stylish. Samsung has also done a great job with the metallic finish.
Foldable phones have only just begun though - new devices are in the pipeline and it looks like we're going to see a resurgence in unusual shapes once again.
