Airtel has introduced new postpaid plans to its 'myPlan Infinity' series, bringing cheaper price options for unlimited voice calling. The plans now begin at Rs. 1,119 and offer unlimited voice calling, with SMS and 3G/4G combos.

The new Rs. 1,119 plan offers unlimited voice calling (local, STD, and national roaming), along with free 100 SMSes per day, and 1GB of 3G/ 4G data. Additionally, there is also free subscription to Airtel's new apps Wynk Music and Wynk Movies.

For more data, users can opt for the Rs. 1,599 plan which offers unlimitied voice calling (local, STD, and national roaming), along with free 100 SMS per day, and 5GB of 3G/ 4G data. This plan also offers free subscription to Wynk Music and Wynk Movies apps. There are also options of Rs. 1,999, and Rs. 2,999 which offer 10GB and 20GB of 3G/ 4G data respectively.

"With 'myPlan Infinity' we are making voice calls free for our customers and offering them the flexibility to combine this benefit with their individual data requirements. With the new price points, we have made the proposition even more affordable and this will benefit customers with very heavy voice usage," Ajai Puri, Director - Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said in a statement.

Of course, once you go above the data limit, a charge of Rs. 0.50/ MB starts getting incurred. Also, only the content subscription on Wynk Music and Wynk Movies is free, and data charges will continue to be applied. Airtel announced last month that the Wynk app had crossed 25 million downloads on Google Play Store and Apple Store combined since its launch in September 2014.
