TCL Plex smartphone was launched on 6th September 2019. The phone comes with a 6.53-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels at a pixel density of 395 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.TCL Plex comes with 6GB of RAM. The TCL Plex runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by a 3820mAh battery. The TCL Plex supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the TCL Plex on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 0.8-micron; a second 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a pixel size of 1.0-micron, and a third 2-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 2.9-micron. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 24-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture and a pixel size of 0.9-micron.
The TCL Plex runs TCL UI is based on Android 9 Pie and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB). The TCL Plex measures 162.20 x 76.56 x 7.99mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 192.00 grams. It was launched in Opal white and Obsidian Black colours.
Connectivity options on the TCL Plex include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi Direct. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The TCL Plex supports face unlock.
