Videocon logo Videocon started introduced its first mobile range in 2009. Its mobile range extends from basic colour phones to Android devices. Videocon is a big player in the consumer electronics market with the company making products such as TVs, refrigerators, among others. It also offers direct to home cable services via Videocon d2h. Videocon's latest mobile launch is the VA81M. The tablet was launched in June 2015. The tablet comes with a 7.00-inch display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels.

The Videocon VA81M is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core it comes with 512MB of RAM. The tablet packs 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Videocon VA81M packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Videocon VA81M runs Android 4.4.2 and is powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery. It measures 188.10 x 108.20 x 10.30 (height x width x thickness) .

The Videocon VA81M is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) tablet that accepts Regular and Regular. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor and Gyroscope.
