Nvidia is one of the world's largest manufacturers of graphics processing units (GPU) for computers. Apart from that, the company's chips have been deployed in supercomputing sites across the world. Its technology helps scientists and researchers run applications efficiently. Nvidia's latest mobile launch is the Shield Tablet K1. The tablet was launched in November 2015. The tablet comes with a 8.00-inch display with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1200 pixels.

The Nvidia Shield Tablet K1 is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nvidia Shield Tablet K1 packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Nvidia Shield Tablet K1 runs Android 5.0. It measures 221.00 x 126.00 x 9.20 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 390.00 grams.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.
