Swipe Telecom's new budget Android tablet offering, the Halo Value +, the successor to the Swipe Halo Value tablet, is now available at Rs. 6,699, via the company's online store.

The Swipe Halo Value + tablet features a 7-inch display with 800x480 pixels resolution. The tablet is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor along with 512MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and supports single-SIM with voice-calling feature. The tablet measures 192x116.8x11.3mm and weighs about 380 grams. It sports 2-megapixel rear camera, while there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the tablet include EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro-USB.

The Swipe Halo Value + tablet come with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It also packs a 3000mAh battery.

Swipe Telecom launched the original Halo Value tablet in March this year.

It measures 197x124x10.9mm and weighs around 335 grams. The tablet sports a 7-inch TFT LCD display and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It features a 2-megapixel rear and a VGA front camera. The innards of the tablet include a 1.5GHz processor with 512MB RAM. The tablet comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB. The original Swipe Halo Value supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and packs a 3400mAh battery.

Previously, Swipe launched MTV Slate tablet for the Indian market at Rs. 14,999 in August this year.

The Swipe MTV Slate features a 7.85-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. The tablet runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and weighs 400 grams. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor with 1GB of RAM. The device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera.
