India based Karbonn is a joint venture between Delhi-based Jaina Group and Bangalore-based UTL Group. The company is a manufacturer of both mobile phones and tablets. It is among the biggest smartphone makers in the country. Karbonn was one of the three manufacturers to first bring Google's Android One initiative to India. Karbonn's latest mobile launch is the ST72. The tablet was launched in November 2014. The tablet comes with a 7.00-inch display with a resolution of 1024 pixels by 600 pixels.
The Karbonn ST72 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core it comes with 512MB of RAM. The tablet packs 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Karbonn ST72 packs a 3.2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 3.2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Karbonn ST72 runs Android 4.4.2 and is powered by a 2800mAh non removable battery. It measures 184.50 x 100.00 x 8.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 290.00 grams.
The Karbonn ST72 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) tablet that accepts Regular and Regular. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
