It makes the Kindle series of ebook readers, the Kindle Fire line of tablets, and it also made the Fire Phone. Amazon Web Service offers cloud computing services. It owns websites such as IMDB, Audible, Comixology, Goodreads, and more. Amazon's latest mobile launch is the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition (2018). The tablet was launched in September 2018. The tablet comes with a 8.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 pixels by 800 pixels at a PPI of 189 pixels per inch.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Edition (2018) is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core it comes with 1.5GB of RAM. The tablet packs 3.2GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 400GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Edition (2018) packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Edition (2018) runs Android 7.1.2. It measures 155.00 x 244.00 x 26.00 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 474.00 grams.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi. Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer.
