  • Old things, new ways: Samsung Galaxy SII Plus
Pranshu Sharma (Jun 1, 2014) on Gadgets 360
The month of January, 2013 saw a surprise as Samsung announced officially the launch of Galaxy S2 Plus. The previous version being released about 3 years back, this move had been speculated since an year. The glossier metallic rim makes the phone elegant. This gadget works upon Android 4.1.2, Jelly bean. Talking about the features, the gadget has failed to deviate much from its predecessor, sharing commonalities like 1GB RAM, 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display and 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The built in storage has been reduced to 8 GB from 16 GB. An LED flash embellished 8 MP camera with a zero-lag shutter allows you to picture moving objects perfectly and the front is enhanced by a 2MP camera. The direct call feature is my favorite. Lethargic souls like me can make a call by placing the cell next to the ear! S Voice, the voice command feature is also exciting and Voice lock allows unlocking phone using voice. The battery life is pretty good with 1650 mAh. This is a great phone to buy. The pros dominate the cons!
