Realme is stepping up its game with its latest offering, the Realme X2 Pro. With a starting price of Rs. 29,999, the Realme X2 Pro offers many of the features found in higher-priced mid-range flagships, which automatically boosts its value proposition. This is also the company's first ‘true' flagship offering, and is the first time that Realme is venturing above the over-Rs. 20,000 price segment in India. So far, the company has earned a reputation for making budget-friendly phones, but with the X2 Pro, can it convince its fanbase and new potential buyers to spend this much money for its top-end offering? We've been testing the X2 Pro for about a week, and it's now time to see if this premium smartphone has managed to pull it off.

Realme X2 Pro Summary

Realme X2 Pro smartphone was launched on 15th October 2019. The phone comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9.

Realme X2 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM.

The Realme X2 Pro runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery. The Realme X2 Pro supports VOOC fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme X2 Pro on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a second 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.5 aperture; a third 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Realme X2 Pro runs ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage. The Realme X2 Pro is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.

Connectivity options on the Realme X2 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Realme X2 Pro supports face unlock.

The Realme X2 Pro measures 161.00 x 75.70 x 8.70mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 199.00 grams. It was launched in Lunar White and Neptune Blue colours. It bears a glass body.
