Realme X7 Max could be launched in India as a rebranded Realme GT Neo smartphone in the first half of May, according to a tipster. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth also recently teased a new smartphone coming with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC — the same SoC that powers the Realme GT Neo.

The Realme 8 5G runs Realme UI 2.0 is based on Android 11 and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1000GB) with a dedicated slot. The Realme 8 5G is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Realme 8 5G measures 162.50 x 74.80 x 8.50mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 185.00 grams. It was launched in Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue colours.
Connectivity options on the Realme 8 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Realme 8 5G supports face unlock.
