When Oregon-based InFocus announced its first smartphone in India, people wondered what a company with a formidable and established presence in projectors and large-format displays was doing in the super-competitive smartphone market. The first product, the InFocus M2 (Review | Pictures), offered an impressive specification list at just Rs. 4,999 and garnered serious attention. InFocus also announced that its phones were being made by Foxconn, the same company that manufactures the iPhone for Apple.

InFocus M530 Summary

The InFocus M530 takes on the Xiaomi Mi 4i, Xolo Black and many others in what has grown to be India's most competitive price category, the sub-Rs. 15,000 bracket. The device offers some interesting features for the price, including good rear and front cameras, and performance levels that are far above those expected of phones in this segment. However, average looks and pathetic battery life bring the phone down a notch, making it too much of a mixed bag to compete against more rounded competitors.

Very good looking handset with good speed and premium feel. Straight forward coming to ponts Pros: 1. Camera both front and back is good with 13mp. Picture Quality is good in general. Shutter speed is also good. However in low light there is some problem. 2. User interface is handy and better than MI and Micromax 3. Speed is quite good and have good capability of handling multiple function 4. Look and feel is premium and better than other low cost handset 5. Light weight Cons: 1. Battery discharge very fast. 100 to 90 in 10 minutes and than stablises and give good backup. 2. Google Map crashes frequently 3. Screen is pron to smug 4. No accessories in market even snapdeal does not have 5. Mic is placed wrongly and voice is getting broken. Person will complain of voice loss.
