Sodexo, the employee benefit solutions that offers meal cards, meal vouchers and cafeteria cards, has announced a partnership with Zeta, a fintech startup dealing with digitised employee benefits, rewards, and expense management. The partnership is expected to bring digital solution offerings to Sodexo's 3 million consumers.
Zeta focuses on digital solutions where no paper is involved, and it offers a 'Super Card' which can be used for paying for food, fuel, or medical bills. For those unaware, Sodexo has started offering its Meal Cards in India which are now accepted at 30,000 terminals across 700 cities in India. Sodexo believes that the partnership with Zeta will help it with "go-to-market" strategy with other employee benefit solutions.
A Bengaluru-based startup, Zeta has roughly 600 customers and it addresses around 100,000 end users. The company expected to get access to Sodexo's expertise in the B2B domain of sales and fine customer service.
Announcing the new partnership, Stephane Michelin, CEO, Sodexo BRS India said, "Through this partnership we will be able to offer our clients a large range of employee benefit solutions using advanced technology solutions. Through this formidable partnership, CHROs can look forward to unmatched convenience and the benchmark in the employee benefits space for trust, expertise and cutting-edge technology."
Bhavin Turakhia, Founder and CEO of Zeta, said "In partnership with Sodexo we can reach a larger number of clients and customers, faster and help them benefit from the savings and simplicity our technology can offer."
