  • The best in the market
Siddarth Oruganti (Jul 9, 2020) on Amazon
I have had the S20Plus and also the S10Lite but this beats them hands down in every aspect. Its it super fluid, fast with no hanging or heating. It is super well built(the Ceramic Black is epic) and sturdy. I love the display. Has no problems like the OP8 Pro. Sound from the speakers is stunning. The camera is really good. I felt at times even better than the s20Plus. It also has OZE audio which is so useful. So far i have got 2 updates and am on June security patch-so i am happy. The battery gets me through one day medium use with 30% charge left. I feel its good enough(I use QHD with 120Hz refresh). And the Charging, what do i say, i get 0% to 100% in 33Mts. Its that fast. The only 2 things i miss are IP68 certification(IP55 is good but would have liked the peace of mind with IP68) and Wireless charging(Samsung has spoilt me for it-though this makes up for it through its charging speed.)Its is a super premium phone and thus highly recommend it.

  • Nice phone but does it have 5g?
Wiggy (Jul 19, 2020) on Amazon
I purchased this phone since I liked the hardware. I also selected this phone since I use a phone for 5-6 years and since this phone is a 5g phone as mentioned on this site as well on Oppo site so I could make use of the 5g network if and when it come to India. Now I am not sure if it is 5g or not. Yes I know that there are no 5g networks in India but there is no mention of 5g nor of 5g bands in the specifications on the box. There is a data sheet inside the box and here too there is no no mention of 5g. In the network setting the preferred network options are 2g, 2g/3g and 2g/3g/4g. On Xiaomi MI 10 and Oneplus 8 there is a preferred network option like 2g/3g/4g/5g but not on this phone. Also after buying and receiving it I found that in the technical details mentioned for this phone on Amazon the Connectivity technologies does not mention 5g and only GPRS;EDGE;HSPA+;3G;WCDMA;4G;TD-LTE;LTE FDD. So if you are buying this phone for the 5g connectivity please cross check and make sure 100% and only then buyApart from this 5g business the phone is very good and I am pleased with it. The display is very good and apps load very fast. I do not play games and neither do I know much about photography but a friend of mine who tested this phone says that games load and play very well without any lag. He also says that the photos are top quality and so are the videos. The only thing he says is that this phone should have the ability to shoot 8k videos and have 10x optical zoom given the price of Rs60,000 plusBattery charging is very fast and a completly flat battery gets charged in 40mins as claimed by Oppo.Another thing I found interesting about this phone is that the 4g speeds is very good. I have tested the speed on Jio, Airtel and Vodaphone. On 4g or 4g+ with Airtel sim I get download speeds between 50mbps to 95mbps, with Jio it is between 30mbps to 60mbps and with Vodophone is is between 20mbps to 70mbps. With my old phone with is 5 years old the 4g speed was between 4mpbs to 10mbps.I would not recommend or discourage anybody from buying this phone as I now feel that the price is a bit on the higher end compared to Oneplus and Xiaomi.

  • Meh!...pass this
Sarthak (Jul 18, 2020) on Amazon
Shifted from Note 9, actually wanted to go for the OnePlus 8 pro....but the artificial supply crunch or possibly Corona delays went for this.My experience so far1)You get all the Snapdragon nonsense, but do not see any incremental benefits..2)power charger is annoying, it's so big that it affects the nearby switches.3)120 screen refresh rate.....drains so much battery , you are better of at 60. If you select Auto option , phone will freeze while watching web videos.4)Display is kind of good, the build looks Complete.having said that, software optimizations/features are non existent....don't go on BS YouTube reviews that speak about....(stock android etc)...very vanilla OS. What's the use of all that hardware if you are never going to use it?5)no wireless charging, once corona is over, prepare to carry the massive charger.Box looks cool. Should have used the budget for software improvements. If you are looking to buy this after looking at YouTube reviews , honestly buy a mid range phone....the incremental gains are pointless .
