Le 1s and Le Max Take the Lead With Mirror-Surfaced Fingerprint Recognition Technology

LeEco, a leading multi-national technology conglomerate, unveiled its 'superphones' in India earlier this month - the Le 1s and Le Max, having launched them in China in October last year. The company is said to have sold 1 million Le Superphones in China in November alone.

The top-seller Le 1s and Le Max, released by a company that entered the smartphone market less than a year ago, have achieved great sales success with their unbeatable features and cutting-edge technology, making them stand out in a crowded market. Fingerprint recognition technology, for instance, has been adopted by a range of smartphone manufacturers. Le Superphones, however, have taken the fingerprint sensor to the next level through combining functionality, performance, and aesthetics. With the patented LeTouch technology, Le 1s boasts the world's first mirror-surfaced fingerprint recognition that enables flash recognition within just 0.15 seconds and 99.3 percent accurate identification. It also allows touch in 360 degrees to unlock the phone, with five fingerprints option available.

LeTouch on the Le 1s and Le Max with mirror surface is anti-scratch, the hardness of which reaches 6H, which does not hinder the performance of identification at all. While the paint coating on most smartphones in the market can only have the hardness as much as 3H, which will easily cause scratches and subsequently affect the recognition. In addition, photos can be taken with the fingerprint button, which allows one to control the phone with just one hand. Some fashionistas even say the mirror surface can be used as a mini make-up mirror. Le 1s available in silver and gold, is chic and elegant in appearance with in-built privacy security, state-of-the-art technology and top-of-the-line features.

To recall, the Le 1s, much like the bigger Le Max, features a fingerprint scanner at the back, just below the primary camera. The Le 1s is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop based EUI 5.5 UI. Le supports a reversible USB Type-C with fast-charging SpeedVolt technology that can offer 3.5 hours of playback on a charge of just 5 minutes.

For camera, the handset sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase-detection autofocus (PDAF). There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well on board. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G LTE. The handset measures 151.1x74.2x7.5mm and weighs 169 grams. The Le 1s is backed by a 3000mAh battery. It packs accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensors.
