Founded in October 2012 as ZTE's wholly-owned subsidiary, Nubia Technology is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It became an independent company in 2015. In 2017, ZTE reduced its stake in Nubia to 49.9 percent. Nubia now has operations around the world including North America, South America, Europe, Russia, Southeast Asia, and India. Nubia's latest mobile launch is the Red Magic 5G. The smartphone was launched in 12th March 2020. The phone comes with a 6.65-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels.
The Nubia Red Magic 5G is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nubia Red Magic 5G packs a 64-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Nubia Red Magic 5G is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
