Samsung seems to gearing up to launch Samsung Galaxy S II Plus in India. The smartphone is already listed on Infibeam.com for Rs. 22,900. The website is also claiming to ship the device within seven business days.

Samsung Galaxy S II Plus sports a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800) Super AMOLED Plus display as seen in the earlier Galaxy S II. Looks wise, the exterior of the device has been replaced with the plasticky back panel as seen on the Galaxy S III. Samsung Galaxy S II Plus runs Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box along with layer of Nature UX atop.

The device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and capable of full-HD video recording. There's a 2-megapixel front camera as well.

On the inside, the smartphone is powered by a dual-core Cortex-A9 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a Broadcomm GPU and has 1GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy S II Plus also comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 64GB through a microSD card.

Connectivity wise, the S II Plus boasts dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, NFC and 3G with 21Mbps HSPA+. The S II Plus is 8.9mm thick and weighs 5gms more than its predecessor at 121gms. It has a 1,650mAh battery on-board.

The S II Plus comes loaded with company's proprietary apps like ChatOn messenger, AllShare Play, Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Popup Video, S-Voice and S Beam.

The smartphone will be available in Chic White and Dark Blue colours.
