Samsung has started rolling out the much-awaited Android 4.0 update for Galaxy Note owners. The update is being released over-the-air and is 318MB in size.

According to the information so-far, the roll-out is currently happening only in select European countries like Germany and Netherlands for the unlocked units. However, we expect it to reach more countries soon.

The Galaxy Note Ice Cream Sandwich update includes usual Android 4.0 goodies like resizable widgets, face unlock, performance enhancements as well as Touchwiz, new S-Note app and S-Memo widget.

Consumers can also update their Galaxy Note devices via the company's Kies app.
