Panasonic India seems to be gearing up to launch its first Android KitKat-powered smartphone, dubbed the T41, if information from an established retailer from Mumbai is to be believed. So far, no announcement has been made by the company.

Announcing a price of Rs. 7,900, retailer Mahesh Telecom on Wednesday also tweeted some specifications of the yet-to-be-announced Panasonic T41, with another link to a Facebook page with almost complete specification. The smartphone seems to be the successor of the Panasonic T31 launched last year at Rs. 7,990.

According to the retailer's Facebook post, the yet-to-be-announced Panasonic T41 runs Android 4.4 out-of-the-box, and offers dual-SIM support. It is said to feature a 4.5-inch (unknown resolution) display, and be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unknown chipset) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The retailer also claimed the Panasonic T41 will come with a 5-megapixel of rear camera with LED flash, and an unknown resolution front facing camera. The 4GB of built-in storage is said to be expandable via microSD card (maximum capacity unspecified). The Panasonic T41 is also said to be 8.3mm thick, and pack a 1650mAh battery. Some other features that reportedly included are the POP I Player, Gesture Play and Music Cafe.

The post also suggests a list of online freebies worth Rs. 9,900 that will be offered with the Panasonic T41. It includes Rs. 1,000 worth of music and video download from Hungama, exclusive premium services worth Rs. 1,800 from Evernote, a Rs. 7,100 worth of digital magazine subscriptions.

The smartphone's predecessor, Panasonic T31, features a 4-inch WVGA (800x480) display and is powered by 1.3GHz dual core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, and a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Panasonic's T31 The smartphone measures 122x64.4x11.95mm and weighs 120 grams.

Notably, the same retailer on Wednesday provided details about two other yet-to-be-announced smartphones, saying the Micromax Canvas Fire A093 had been launched in the Indian market, while the Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT-G313H was tipped to launch soon.
