Nokia X+ Dual SIM Now Officially Available in India at Rs. 8,190

The recently announced Nokia X+ Dual SIM, is now available in India for Rs. 8,190. Microsoft had launched the Nokia X+ Dual SIM in India last week at Rs. 8,399 with no word on its availability details.

The latest Nokia X series smartphone has been listed as 'in stock' on the company's official India store, with the option to 'buy now'. Notably, only the Green variant of the Nokia X+ Dual SIM is listed on the store right now.

The Nokia X+ was announced alongside the Nokia X and Nokia XL at MWC. The Nokia X+ Dual SIM, as the name suggests, will come with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality. The Nokia X+, much like the Nokia X (Review | Pictures), comes with a 4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels and offers a pixel density of 233ppi. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and while the Nokia X comes with 512MB of RAM, the Nokia X+ comes with 768MB of RAM - the only difference between the smartphones.

Similar to other Nokia X smartphones, the Nokia X+ also runs the Nokia X software platform that's based on the Android Open Source Project, and can run Android apps from the Nokia Store and other third-party app stores (Google Play not supported). It comes with 4GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Nokia X+ sports a 3-megapixel rear camera without flash.

It is backed by a 1500mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 13.3 hours of talk time and up to 408 hours of standby time. The connectivity options include GPRS, WLAN, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G, and GPS support. The smartphone measures 115.5x63x10.4mm in dimensions and weighs 128.7 grams.

Microsoft, at the time of India launch of the Nokia X+ Dual SIM, had also announced that it has tied up with Airtel to offer users free unlimited download of Android apps for six months on the Nokia XL Dual SIM (Review | Pictures). As per the company, Airtel subscribers using Nokia XL will get up to 500MB of free data usage to download apps via the Nokia Store and the 1Mobile store.
