Microsoft is expected to release Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones by late February. The Redmond giant however is yet to reveal the list of eligible phones for the Technical Preview.

Now, Microsoft's Engineering General Manager, Gabriel Aul, who's also a member of the Windows Insider Program for Windows 10, while replying to a Twitter user has confirmed that a list of Windows 10 Technical Preview supported devices will be shared soon. The Twitter user asked Aul whether the Lumia 535 Dual SIM will receive Windows 10 Technical Preview.

Unfortunately, Aul did not specify a release date for the Windows 10 Technical Preview, and only said the list of supported devices will be shared "very very soon."

Ever since Microsoft announced Windows 10 for phones, consumers have been raising questions whether the update would be released for the company's entry-level Windows Phone smartphones packing just 512MB of RAM. Putting speculations at the side, Microsoft's Joe Belfiore, Corporate Vice President, Operating Systems Group, confirmed on Sunday that the company has been working on a version of Windows 10 for phones with 512MB of RAM sans some features.

Unfortunately, Belfiore did not talk about the features that will not make it to the entry-level Windows Phone handsets. He also confirmed that timing of the release for various phones would differ.

Based on preliminary leaked screenshots, Windows 10 for phones is expected to feature a new keyboard that also includes a voice input option. A recording app was also seen in the leaked screenshots that showed sharing options via email and saving in OneDrive. A revamped alarm app was also seen that matched the already seen Windows 10 for desktop interface.
