The anticipated Microsoft Lumia 650 smartphone, which has been in rumours since past few weeks, will reportedly be going on sale in Germany next month - and its pricing has been tipped. The piece of information goes in line with the previous claims suggesting the handset, being called the 'Last Lumia', will to launch on February 1. Another smartphone going by the Lumia Phone X moniker was mistakenly revealed by the Redmond-based tech giant's China website in a separate video.
According to a report by German website Winfuture, the Black colour variant of the Lumia 650 will be in stock with O2 Germany. The smartphone will be carrying a price tag of EUR 219 (roughly Rs. 16,200).
According to earlier leaks, the Lumia 650 smartphone is said to run Windows 10 Mobile and feature a 5-inch HD display; powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 or 212 processor; 1GB of RAM; 8GB of inbuilt storage; expandable storage via microSD card; 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash; 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2000mAh battery. The handset is said to come in White and Black colours. Some of the other features hinted for the smartphone are Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, dual-SIM configurations, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, HD Voice, and Wi-Fi calling.
Microsoft in a separate video revealed a new smartphone dubbed as Lumia Phone X. The video that explains how the Continuum feature works, also mentioned other smartphones that have already been launched.
The video description, which now has been removed read, "Homemade Welcome Mobile phone Continuum, this function can convert your phone large screen projector and utilities. Use dock or adapter to connect to a TV or monitor, and then use your application on a larger screen and view your content. You can also make your mouse and keyboard computer phone has the same powerful features, such as production of Office documents, send e-mail, and even type text messages. Upon completion, the file will be saved on your phone, you can continue working. Of course, you can watch videos, view photos, surf the Web and so on. Note: This feature requires a compatible mobile device is intended for use, for example Lumia 950/XL, Lumia Phone X, and Acer Jade Primo."
It is worth mentioning that it is the first time we have heard about the Lumia Phone X handset. Nothing else is known as of now. This also hints that the Lumia 650 smartphone might now be the 'Last Lumia' handset after all. The Lumia Phone X could be the company's rumoured Surface Phone.
