The event is about to reach its conclusion with a live performance by... OneRepublic.

He's thanking all Apple employees for their hard work in creating these products.

Tim Cook is back on stage. He's giving a short recap about all of their announcements from today's event.

The new iPhones will be available in over 130 countries by the end of this year.

iCloud pricing has changed too. $0.99 per month gets you 50GB, $2.99 a month gets you 200GB, and $9.99 per month gets you 1TB of cloud storage.

iOS 9 will be available on September 16.

Pre-orders for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus begin September 12. It'll be available starting September 25 in a few countries. 

We'll update you about off-contract pricing soon.

Every other iPhone starts at $100 less on 2-year contracts.

Pricing: iPhone 6s starts at $199 with a two-year contract. iPhone 6s Plus starts at $299 with a 2-year contract.

Schiller highlights how the iPhone is manufactured in an environment friendly manner.

New accessories too. New charging docks, new leather and silicon covers.

23 LTE bands are on the new iPhones, which makes it useful for international travel

Live Photos will be supported by third-part apps too.

You just take a photo and the iPhones record a short video with it. When you swipe between photos you get to see a little bit of movement too.

iPhone 6s and 6s Plus let you use 3D Touch for a feature called Live Photos.

There's a new FaceTime camera as well. 5-megapixel front camera.

On to videos. The new iPhones can shoot 4K videos (with 8 million pixels in every frame).

He also shows a 63MP panoramic photo shot with an iPhone 6s.

He says that iPhone 6s and 6s Plus feature even better cameras. Followed by a gallery of photos shot by professionals. Needless to say, all of these pictures look gorgeous.

He says that more megapixels don't degrade image quality on the camera.

The new iPhones have 12MP iSight cameras.

Now it's time to talk about the iPhone 6s' camera.

The iPhone 6s uses a better Touch ID fingerprint sensor which is much faster, Schiller says,

The motion co-processor, which tracks health and fitness data, is now built into the A9 chip.

It is 70 percent faster at CPU tasks and 90 percent faster at graphics tasks than the A8 chip, Schiller says.

Schiller returns. The iPhone 6s has the new A9 chip.

You no longer need to double tap the home button to switch between apps. Just use 3D Touch and swipe from the left edge.

Some actions available without opening apps are Get Directions, Take Selfie, etc.

It's integrated with almost all apps that come built in with iOS. It lets you take action on apps without opening them.

Applying a little bit of pressure on an email message shows a quick preview. Pressing deeper opens the message.

SVP of Software Engineering Craig Federighi is on stage.

Since 3D Touch is a hardware feature, it won't be available on older iPhones.

If you've seen Force Touch on the Apple Watch - this feature works in a similar manner.

You can use this to quickly check maps, messages or calendar events without leaving the app you are using.

3D Touch gives you shortcuts to access various functions in apps and on the home screen.

Chief Design Officer Jony Ive narrates again. 

The new iPhones will have 3D Touch, a new feature which is being introduced in a video.

iPhone 6s is available in four finishes - silver, gold, space gray and rose gold.

Finally, we get to see the new iPhones. A video starts playing. There is a new rose gold colour from what we can see.

Cook calls iPhone the move loved phone in the world.

Cook says the iPhone has been growing in India, Turkey and Spain, among other countries. He says the iPhone grew 35 percent against the 10 percent growth registered by the rest of the industry.

It will be available in the US in October and in over 100 countries by the end of the year.

The Apple TV comes in two variants - 32GB at $149 and 64GB at $199

The Apple TV remote features Bluetooth 4.0, so no need to point it at the Apple TV box. It lasts three months on a single charge and can be charged via a Lightning connector.

The Apple TV App Store looks similar to the one on iOS. Developers can create universal apps and you can use apps purchased on iOS on Apple TV.

They're showing the MLB app now, which features full HD video. You can click the Apple TV remote once to see a host of stats while the live baseball game is being streamed.

Michelle Peluso from Gilt is on stage. This is a shopping app.

The Apple TV remote has a motion sensor that lets you swing the remote to hit strike in a baseball game. Beat Sports features a rhythm based baseball game.

They're announcing a collection of games designed for the family - Beat Sports.

Jon Carter from Harmonix is on stage. 

Crossy Road announces a new multiplayer mode. Two people can play the game at the same time.

The touchpad on the remote allows you to control the game as you'd play it on an iOS device.

Hipster Whale developer Andy Sum is on stage now. These people made the game Crossy Road, which is coming to Apple TV.

Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Rayman Adventures, Disney Infinity, Madefire, Airbnb and Guitar Hero are some of the apps and games available on Apple TV.

Apple TV is powered by tvOS, based on iOS.

All Apple TV apps have been redesigned, Cue says.

You can swipe down from the top of the remote to get information about the film. You can also ask Siri Who stars in this? to get information about the film's cast. You can also ask Siri about sports scores and the weather while the film is playing. 

The search queries seem rather natural and based on the demo it's like talking to a real person as opposed to a program.

You can ask Siri to forward and rewind as well. You can also ask Siri, what did she say? and Siri will rewind 15 seconds and turn on subtitles.

Show me the Modern Family episode with Edward Norton is a request Siri responds to and finds the right episode too, based on the demo we're seeing.

The UI has been optimised for the big screen - as is obvious. For those who don't know, the Apple TV is a small box that you can plug in to your TV. It connects to the Internet and has apps too.

Siri can search iTunes, Hulu, Netflix, HBO and Showtime, with more services coming soon.

The remote has a Siri button and responds to requests such as Show me some funny shows

The new remote has a glass touch surface across the top.This makes it easy to glide across the top to scroll.

Eddy Cue, SVP Internet Software and Services, is on stage now.

It can even simulate surgical procedures

This is a medical app that uses 3D models to show the human anatomy. The iPad Pro can render all of this seamlessly and this will help patients and doctors, the developer says.

Schiller returns to stage. The last demo is of an app called 3D4Medical.

An Adobe executive designed a magazine page quickly on the iPad Pro. Then used a new app called Adobe Photoshop Fix to retouch a picture via multitasking - an iOS 9 feature.

Schiller is back, calling the next developer on stage for a demo. It is Adobe.

They've optimised their apps for the Apple Pencil.

A Microsoft executive is on stage during an Apple event, showing off the Office for iPad suite and how it is better on the iPad Pro.

Apple Pencil features a Lightning connector that can be charged by plugging it into the iPad Pro.

They've announced a stylus called Apple Pencil.

The iPad Pro has a smart keyboard accessory from Apple. This is a cover that doubles as a keyboard.

712 grams is its weight. Pretty light for a 12.9-inch device, Schiller points out.

The new iPad Pro has a four-speaker system. iPad Pro is 6.9 mm thin, while the Air 2 is 6.1 mm.

The iPad Pro comes with 10-hour battery life

He shows an image of AutoCAD 360 running on the iPad Pro, highlighting that it is powerful.

Schiller says it is faster at CPU tasks than 80 percent of the portable PCs that shipped in the last quarter, and 90 percent faster at graphics tasks.

He says it also has 2x the graphics performance

The new A9x chip powers the iPad Pro. Schiller says it is 1.8x faster than the A8x processor.  Schiller calls it desktop-class CPU.

Watching movies on it is incredible, he says

2732x2048 pixels - 5.6 million pixels. Schiller says that's more pixels than those on a 15 MacBook Pro

12.9 inches is the display size of iPad Pro

Comes with a full-size software keyboard (we could see number keys above the QWERTY keys)

Tim Cook is back.

Williams says the new models are shipping today in 24 countries (not India) and watchOS 2 is going to be available on September 16.

They just played a video showing even more bands. A gold a rose gold Apple Watch, apart from a variant with an anodised aluminium finish.

That is called the Apple Watch Hermes and comes with customised Hermes watch faces.

Williams is talking about Apple Watch bands. Apple has partnered with Hermes to create a collection of watch bands.

Airstrip is particularly useful for pregnant women, Powell says. It can monitor both the mother's and the baby's heart rate simultaneously. He says the app will redefine health monitoring. With that the demo ends and Williams returns to stage.

This app allows for live monitoring of patients' vital stats and lets doctors communicate with their staff and patients.

Dr. Cameron Powell, co-founder of a medical app called Airstrip, is giving a demo of the app.

The GoPro app uses Apple Watch as a viewfinder. It's an interesting way to use the device.

Williams says over 10,000 apps are on the Apple Watch. He also announces that Facebook Messenger, GoPro and iTranslate are coming to the device.

He just showed off a cool feature that lets you rotate the digital crown on the Apple Watch to see what's in your calendar for the day

Here we go. Apple CEO Tim Cook is on stage. 

This is perhaps the largest venue for an Apple event we've seen.

The event is about to begin. We just heard the please put all electronic devices in silent mode announcement.

The crowd is settling in at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. There are a lot of people at the venue, with a capacity of around 7,500.

As is the case every year, the rumour mills have been running overtime as you might have noticed with the innumerable Apple product-related leaks we've covered over the past few weeks.

Hello everyone, welcome to NDTV Gadgets' live coverage of Apple's 2015 iPhone event.

Apple is holding a special event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Wednesday where the company is expected to unveil new flagship smartphones - iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus - as well as new iPad models and a revamped Apple TV.

Apple Overhauls Apple TV With App Store, Siri Search

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus price is expected to remain unchanged from its predecessor, with the base model at $649 for an off-contract iPhone 6s. Storage capacities are rumoured to remain unchanged at 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB, with a $100 premium for every jump in storage. The new iPhone models are likely to launch (go on sale) in select countries later this month. The iPhone 6s launch date in India is likely to around the festival of Diwali in November. iPhone 6s price in India could be higher than iPhone 6 due to depreciation of rupee, though a lot can change between now and its launch.

The highlight of the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is expected to be camera improvements, as they are expected to come with a 12-megapixel rear camera sensor and 4K video recording support. Another big addition to the new Apple smartphones is expected to be the introduction of Force Touch technology, which can detect the difference between a 'hard' and 'soft' touch on the screen, letting software respond differently to each action. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are also expected to come in a new Rose Gold colour.

In terms of specifications, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are rumoured to be powered by the new Apple A9 SoC alongside 2GB RAM. As far as the software is concerned, a late rumour says that the new iPhone models come with always on 'Hey Siri' mode, which will let users invoke Apple's virtual assistant by simply saying the magic words, eliminating the need of pressing any buttons.

Also at the event, Apple is expected to launch the iPad Pro, a bigger iPad which will be capable of running more than one app side by side and is rumoured to come with a stylus. A revamped Apple TV with support for native apps and a SDK that developers can use to make apps for the box is also expected to be unveiled at Wednesday's event. New Apple Watch bands are also likely to be announced at the event.
