iBall might soon launch a new smartphone and a tablet in the Indian market, as details of the two new devices have surfaced on the Internet. While the tablet, the iBall Slide Brace X1, has been listed on the company's website, the smartphone dubbed iBall Xotic has been tipped by an established smartphone retailer.
The tablet is powered by an ARM Cortex-based octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz that is coupled with 2GB of RAM. Besides a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, the iBall Slide Brace X1 features 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). As for the iBall Xotic, the smartphone is yet to be listed on the company website but was tipped by to up for pre-orders by retailer Mahesh Telecom. The retailer also claimed the smartphone will be priced at Rs. 7,999, but did not provide availability details.
