iBall has launched its new Andi-series smartphone, the Andi4-B2 IPS, at Rs. 6,299.

The smartphone is now listed on the company's website without availability details; however, we expect that iBall will announce availability in the coming days.

The new iBall Andi4-B2 IPS is the successor to the Andi4-B2, which was launched back in January, and comes with some upgraded innards.

The Andi4-B2 IPS is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA IPS display. Notably, the iBall Andi4-B2 did not include an IPS display.

Much like its predecessor, the Andi4-B2 IPS is also powered by a dual-core Cortex A7 processor (unspecified chipset) clocked at 1.3GHz. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

The iBall Andi4-B2 IPS sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.

On the connectivity front, the iBall Andi4-B2 IPS includes 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 1400mAh battery, with no word on talk time and standby time. It measures 125x64x11mm and weighs 104 grams.

Last week, two new Andi-series smartphones, the Andi 4U Frisbee and Andi5 Stallion, after being listed on the official site, went on sale via an e-commerce website at discounted prices. The iBall Andi 4U Frisbee was available at Rs. 5,799 and the iBall Andi5 Stallion at Rs. 6,999.

Both the smartphones were officially listed at Rs. 6,799 (Andi 4U Frisbee) and at Rs. 8,499 (Andi5 Stallion) on the company's site.
