Huawei, as indicated last week while announcing availability 'in the coming days' for its Honor 3C smartphone for India, has put the handset up for pre-order for Rs. 14,999 through an online retailer.

The Huawei Honor 3C will remain up for pre-orders until the last week of this month - when the smartphone is expected to get retail availability. Early pre-order customers of the Huawei Honor 3C smartphone would receive a Rs. 1,500 cashback along with an official Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) IPL cricket team merchandise for free. The offer is however valid only during the pre-order period or to the first 2000 customers, whichever comes first.

The Honor 3C has been listed on Flipkart. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone with dual standby runs the now dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, along with the company's Emotion UI 2.0 on top. There is no word on the smartphone's Android KitKat OS update.

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD LTPS display, and offers a pixel density of 312ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor with a Mali 400 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. The Honor 3C comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Honor 3C includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth. The smartphone packs a 2300mAh battery, measures 71.4x139.5x9.2mm and weighs 140 grams.

Earlier this month, along with the Huawei Honor 3C, the Chinese firm also launched the Ascend G750 and Ascend G6 smartphones for Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 16,999 respectively. These smartphones should also arrive soon in the markets.
