Earlier in May, when HTC announced the One M9 Prime Camera Edition in Germany, we expected it to come to India soon. However, the company has silently listed a variant of the One M9+ instead, the One M9+ Prime Camera Edition, on its online store in India.

The One M9+ Prime Camera Edition is priced at Rs. 23,990 on the website, but was not in stock at the time of writing. Talking about the specs, there isn't much that differs between the One M9 Prime Camera Edition, and the HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition smartphones, except for the display. The display of the One M9+ Prime Camera Edition is slightly larger at 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, while One M9 Prime Camera Edition features a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display.

All the other specifications remain the same. The One M9+ Prime Camera Edition is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 clocked at 2.2GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and includes 16GB of built-in storage. The memory can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 2TB). Optics come with a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, laser auto flash, and 4K video recording. It also sports 4-UltraPixel front-camera with BSI sensor for better low-light performance.

The HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition comes with a 2840mAh battery, and weighs 168 grams. To compare, the One M9 prime Camera Edition weighed a little lower at 158 grams. Also, the One M9+ Prime Camera Edition is a bit slimmer with dimensions measuring 150.9x71.9x9.6mm, while the One M9 Prime Camera Edition measures 144.6x69.7x9.61mm. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB, 3.5mm audio jack, and NFC support. On the HTC India website, it is available in Silver, and Gunmetal colour variants.
