The rumoured HTC One A9 that's expected to be announced on September 29 was recently leaked with an iPhone-like design, has made its way to the Web in yet another leaked image alongside specifications.

The live image uploaded by a user on Weibo shows the smartphone's display and the specifications mentioned on the screen. As per the image, which appears to be showing an email, the One A9 is listed to feature a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display and run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC, clubbed with 2GB of RAM. The handset would also sport 16GB of inbuilt storage. Also, the smartphone's home button is said to double-up as a fingerprint sensor as well.

As per the latest leaks and rumours, the One A9 would additionally feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and 4-UltraPixel front-facing camera with OIS and BSI sensors, apart from a 2150mAh battery.

From the looks of the new image, the HTC One A9 seems to be a mid-range offering by the Taiwanese company. While the image fails to reveal the design of the smartphone beyond a physical home button, past leaks have indicated it to sport an iPhone-like design with bold curved edges and two wireless antennas running on top and bottom.

The handset is said to arrive in six new colour variants - Acid Gold, Opal Silver, Deep Garnet, Carbon Gray, Cast Iron, and Rose Gold. HTC earlier this month posted a press invitation on its Weibo page that talked about a press event in Hankone, Japan on September 29. As per the invitation, HTC might launch "dual flagship" devices. The two flagship smartphones are not shown in the invite. However, the recent leaks do point to two possible launches: the HTC Aero aka One A9 and the HTC Butterfly 3.
