In terms of looks, this smartphone seems to resemble the HTC Desire SV. There is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a front camera as well. The smartphone is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor. Like the other HTC smartphones, HTC Desire P also comes with Beats Audio technology on-board.

In the past too there have been speculations regarding HTC planning to launch Desire Q and Desire P but this is the first time that pictures of these smartphones have surfaced online. There is no information available on when these smartphones will be available in other markets.
Separately, the Taiwanese smartphone maker has also retired its "Quietly Brilliant" tagline. As per the Marketing Head of HTC, the company will be replacing this slogan with "something bolder" in the due course of time.
