In order to boost sales, Google has launched a new Pixel 3 referral offer for Pixel and Nexus users this holiday season. As part of this new program, Google is offering Rs. 7,000 instant discount to the referee, and a Rs. 2,000 e-gift voucher to the referrer. This offer has been launched on Flipkart, and will be live till December 20. The referral codes that will be generated during this period will only be valid till December 24, after which they will no longer hold any value.

As part of this program, a Pixel or Nexus user will need to go into their Flipkart app, and click on a targeted banner highlighting this offer. The banner leads to a page that lists offer details and asks for an email ID. Flipkart will then mail the generated code and a unique link within 48 hours. This link can be used by the user themselves, or share it with another user to avail the benefits while purchasing the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL. As mentioned, this link will be valid only till December 24, after which it cannot be used to get the instant Rs. 7,000 discount. Once the referee opens the unique link and validates the code, the offer will get tagged to the buyer's Flipkart account until expiry. Before December 24, the referee can then buy the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL anytime on Flipkart and get Rs. 7,000 off on the purchase. This is exclusive of any other offer running at that time, applying which, will entail the buyer to more discount on the Pixel 3 series.

Currently, Flipkart is offering up to Rs. 14,900 on exchange of old phones, and Rs. 4,500 off on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL all variants due to the Big Shopping Days sale. It is also offering No Cost EMI options, 10 percent off on HDFC debit and credit cards, and 40 percent buyback value for Rs. 199. The Pixel 3 64GB is currently available for Rs. 66,500, and 128GB variant is available for Rs. 75,500. Similarly, the Pixel 3 XL 64GB is priced at Rs. 78,500 and 128GB variant is available for Rs. 87,500 during the Flipkart sale period.

Originally, the Google Pixel 3 price in India has been set at Rs. 71,000 for the base 64GB storage variant and Rs. 80,000 for the 128GB storage model. On the other hand, Google Pixel 3 XL64GB storage variant has been priced at Rs. 83,000, while the 128GB storage model comes in at Rs. 92,000 in the Indian market.
