Other features include a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and Zero shutter lag. It is expected to feature 1080p HD video recording. There's a 1.2MP front camera as well.

The specs of the PadFone 2 closely resemble those of the LG Optimus G. Though the device will feature the Android OS, it isn't clear which version. Though we feel Jelly Bean should be the preferred version.

An earlier leaked benchmark revealed that the PadFone 2 will pack in a quad-core 1512MHz processor and 2GB RAM, which is an upgrade over its predecessor equipped with a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU and 1GB RAM.

The Asus PadFone 2 is a successor to the 3-in-1 unique hybrid multi-functional device that recently came to India. It offers the combined experience of a smartphone, tablet and netbook at a price of Rs.64,999.
