After tie-ups with Itel, Celkon, Samsung, Nokia, and Intex, Airtel has now partnered with Lenovo to offer a cashback of up to Rs. 2,000 on the purchase of the Lenovo K8 Note, Moto E4, and Moto C in India under the telecom operator's Mera Pehla Smartphone initiative. This collaboration helps bring the "effective price" of the Lenovo K8 Note to Rs. 10,999, the effective price of the Moto E4 to Rs. 6,499, and effective price of the Moto C down to Rs. 3,999. The Airtel Rs. 169 prepaid pack is bundled with these smartphones.

With the Airtel-Lenovo partnership, eligible customers are entitled to a cashback of Rs. 2,000 upon using the Airtel SIM card with any of the above-mentioned smartphones by Lenovo or its sub-brand Motorola. Talking about the cashback in the offer, the first instalment of Rs. 500 will be given to the user after 18 months, and the rest Rs. 1,500 will be given after 36 months of purchase.

Much like previous partnerships, users will have to make Airtel prepaid recharges worth a minimum amount of Rs. 3,500 in the first 18 months, and the same amount of Rs. 3,500 needs to transacted in the period of 19-36 months, as well, to be eligible for both cashback installments.

Airtel is also bundling the Rs. 169 prepaid pack - in this offer - that provides the user with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1GB data per day for a validity of 28 days.

Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director at Motorola Mobility India and Lenovo MBG India, said, "We are delighted to partner with Airtel in the 'Mera Pehla Smartphone' initiative, as it opens a world of limitless possibilities for the consumers. It is a great opportunity for Airtel subscribers to upgrade to 4G and enjoy the meaningful experiences across Motorola & Lenovo smartphones. We are confident that with this partnership, we will be able to empower more users with an enriched mobile experience."

"We are delighted to collaborate with Motorola under the 'Mera Pehla Smartphone' initiative. It marks a major milestone in our journey towards building a large open ecosystem of affordable smartphone options for our valued customers. We look forward to working with Motorola to bring smartphones within the reach of more and more customers," added Vani Venkatesh, Chief Marketing Officer at Bharti Airtel.
