Meizu is a Chinese consumer electronics firm that was established in 2003, and manufactures smartphones and music players. It launched its first music player in 2007, and its first smartphone in 2008. The company announced its arrival in the Indian smartphone market in 2015, when it launched Android phones in the country. Meizu's latest mobile launch is the 17 Pro. The smartphone was launched in 8th May 2020. The phone comes with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels at a PPI of 390 pixels per inch.

The Meizu 17 Pro is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi standards supported, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
