Lava International is an Indian company that offers mobiles and tablets. It was incorporated in 2009 and since then offering affordable handsets, smartphones and tablets. Apart from India, the company also has operations in Africa. The company has launched a separate brand called Xolo, which has also launched Android smartphones. Lava's latest mobile launch is the Z40. The smartphone was launched in March 2019. The phone comes with a 4.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 400 pixels by 800 pixels at a PPI of 223 pixels per inch.
The Lava Z40 is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Lava Z40 packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Lava Z40 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer.
