I have just been delivered the black LG gram 16 inch model with the 11th generation Intel i7 processor and 16GB RAM. It's got 256GB storage. LG has come up with an amazing laptop, not that the previous grams weren't equally amazing; but the 2021 models have been improved in a few ways. Up until this year the 17 inch gram was the only one with the taller 16x10 screen ratio. Now the 14, 16 and 17 have it. The keyboard keys are a bit larger and the keyboard feels so good to type on. One of the weak points of the gram was the sound out of the speakers. Now, the speakers, though not up to the sound of, say, the Apple MacBook audio, are much better. As always, the weight of these machines is amazing. If you haven't held one, yes, it's so light it feels like it's plastic BUT you can feel the coolness and be assured that it IS metal; a magnesium alloy. The display quality is fabulous. The 16 (and the 17) has the 2600x1500 resolution but LG gives the 14 inch models 1920x1200. The quality of the 16 inch display is breathtaking. I also have a MacBook Air M1 and the Dell XPS 15 with 4K display but I find I'm using this LG gram 16 more and more. It's a joy to work on. Bravo LG. The price seems like a steal. It was $1399 for the 256GB storage, 16GB RAM, 11th gen i7 specs. It's a great value and a great laptop.
