  • I have been looking for a good (and cheap) tablet in the past few months
Edward W. Yu (Jan 11, 2016) on Amazon
I have been looking for a good (and cheap) tablet in the past few months, and I finally I've found one in LG. The 10.1 inch screen gives a pretty good size for videos and games. The speed of the tablet is very smooth. I don't feel any lag while swiping the device or load my apps load when I need them. The battery life is extremely strong; I use it for HBO Now, YouTube, and some gaming, then this thing can last three days under all those activities. I always prefer Android tablet than iPads because Android gives more freedoms on file transferring. But a good Android tablet is hard to find, and I'm glad that I've found one. Peace!

  • Great tablet for the price!
Mack (Apr 27, 2016) on Amazon
I've been trying to find a suitable tablet to replace my iPad and I think I found it. For the price this tablet simply cannot be beat. I looked at this one since I have the LG V10 phone and wanted text and call integration and this works well. I still can't believe it was only $279 to the door! If you're looking for a solid Android powered tablet for a low price look no further. Highly recommended!

  • Excellent tablet for price
Faheem (May 11, 2016) on Amazon
Love this tablet, android quirks aside. Having been a long iOS user I can vouch that iOS has come along way and is the superior operating system. Android is just too clunky due to lacking cross app consistency. However dealing with iTunes and limited memory irritates me beyond measure. This tablet solves that issue allowing me to interface with my pc to transfer files in multiple easy ways, which is the very nature of Android. It also gives me plenty of additional storage space options. The LG G Pad 2 specifically is well designed, feels solid, even premium, has a great screen and glass, good colors, and performs fast and reliably, and is stable.Another plus point is most accessories are cheap - for example, I've got a great folding/stand cover with screen cover for $10 that looks every bit as premium as an Apple cover.Very pleased with this purchase. At the time it cost me $280, but since has gone up due to limited quantities. This is not a standard product you will find widely available in the US market. I believe the only bricks and mortar retailer is AT&T that has the G Pad X variant will LTE.I found this tablet after extensively searching for a good quality and reliable tablet at an affordable price. Any cheaper and you immediately drop quality for substantially cheaper build and lack of features - Asus Zenpad fits the bill on paper but reviews have proved poor quality control/ also smaller size. For anything other than this model with slightly better screen or build quality, you have to go about $100 more for what is available in the market either with Samsung or Apple. The only other option is refurb or old models. This LG tablet hits the sweet spot.

Sweet tablet. Have LG washer and dryer. LG watch. I really like those things so thought I'd give the tablet a try. Replacing my Asus transformer that died after 3 years hard use. This is fast, light, and got a bunch of One drive storage free with it. Processor is fast. Oh yeah, Windows office too for free.

Yes it works smoothly and the screen is crisp and bright, the battery can go 3 days with one charge spending on how you use it, and watching movies and TV shows on it is enjoyable.

  • Love it, nice size footprint
Bruce (Aug 26, 2016) on Amazon
Love it, nice size footprint, not a large area around the viewing area. Screen image is clear and sharp. Ha speakers on both sides providing a nice rich sound. Tap on like the LG phones, great battery life. LGs Q-pair for getting messages and phone calls on your tab works well ( make sure in phone settings you turn on auto connect so if you go out of range it pars automatically. It basically is the same as our LG G4s as for the LGs skinning.

  • Good Tablet - No Complaints
Amazon Customer (Oct 14, 2016) on Amazon
One of the more expensive Tablets of considerable worth that works fine. I have no complaints after a few weeks of use. It does what one expects it to do quite well. I recommend this one to friends - and they stay friends.

I would say this is at least as good as an iPad, it's not better. The screen is excellent. In fact, it's so bright I can read my Kindle app outside without any trouble in broad daylight. Of course, it's extremely sharp as well. The stereo speakers are very nice. The battery lasts forever. I didn't think I'd like the 16 by 9 ratio , but it's fine and fits well in the hand . On the downside, and these are minor, it does take a long time to charge and is heavier than a newer iPad.. Also, I am having some strange issues with the screen not always being sensitive to my taps, but since this seems to be relatively infrequent, I'm willing to overlook it. It does only have lollipop, but it is tweaked in a pleasant way.

I am not a techie just an 85 year old woman who uses the product only for email, record keeping, banking and games. I do not know how to rate it technically. I just know I am happy with it. It serves me well.

  • --Very happy (so far)
    E. Smith (Sep 15, 2016) on Amazon
Two days in and I'm very happy with this tablet! Returned a Fusion5 104A because the lack of moving apps and app data to the SD card. Now that I play with this one I see SO many more functions and features of 5.1.1... (Things must have been disabled or something) And apps just start using the SD card without trying to find hidden setting and such. I've loaded all my apps (Some very large in the 500m range) and I've only used half the memory.Very fast! Course I'm use to an Asus TF101... But still, very fast loads of apps. The WiFi is AC and the broadband test shows about 134GBS. WOW!I was disappointed originally when I read that this has A-GPS (Assisted GPS) and GPS will not work without an internet connection (for timing sync). I wanted to use this with my DJI drone... I don't know if the hardware changed since reading that here, but the GPS works fine away from home without network!!!! Even "GPStest" app locks on fine with WiFi turned off...Charging is very slow (as most are mentioning), but once charged I'm getting 10+ hours. So can't complain.Anyone I know asks me what tablet to get, it's this (so far). But I'm only two days in.... I really like the fact that this model has been around a awhile and there is SO much support, reviews and stuff. This makes me guess (and hope) that Android versions will be updated as we move along... I felt left behind and angered when Asus abandoned my tablet at Android 4.0 and moved onto another model.I'll try to update this as I move along! Thank everyone here writing all these reviews, as I think you convinced me to buy a good tablet. (We'll see).

  • Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!
Srverna (Nov 1, 2016) on Amazon
This device is my current and favorite tablet so far, and I came off a Samsung Note 10.1. This device is fast, fantastic battery life (now fully loaded/setup, getting 3-4 days of battery life and I use it every day for entertainment viewing), great looking Screen, durable and lite frame, MS Office installed, Knock, knock feature, smart settings and most of the LG features which I do like.I would like to see more standardization of LG features across their phones and tables this would be amazing; I have an LG phone and the tablet is missing some very cool features that the phone has and the tablet could benefit from. Also, I would like to see LG make their products more mainstream and available at more retail locations, it was difficult to find one and a good deal to go with it. Lastly, cases: because the device was not made in a large quantities in the US, it was tough finding varying types of tablet cases, not so for my old Samsung.Don't overlook or discount this tablet for it's a very good Mid to High-Mid tablet in regards to hardware, (you can see the reviews online) and it?s affordable price tag! With that said, based on when I am writing this, make sure LG has not announced a newer version, for which I did check and only found spotty information regarding any newer model.Make Sure: You are purchasing the LG G Pad II V940N model, this is the top of the line with the great hardware and battery. Also when searching for a case make sure it's for the LG G Pad II V940N model as the previous model LG G Pad 10.1's case is different enough that it wont fit this model.
