Lenovo might be a respected name as far as laptops and PCs are concerned, but that doesn't mean that people will automatically take to its smartphones. In a crowded market with multiple choices at each price level, it will take a lot to convince buyers

  • Don't go for it.
Praful Yadav (May 16, 2014) on Gadgets 360
I will start with Cons as they are a lot many:- 1.) Service centres are very few .One for whole of Karnataka that too outsourced to HCL. 2.) They charge heavily for parts when warranty is over. 18k for Motherboard 6k for battery. 15k for screen 10k for camera. 3.) You will end up in a trap as no OS updates. You can see people getting annoyed on Lenovo forums itself. 4.) What will you do with specs when the battery itself will drain in 10 hours on mixed usage. Harware issues with the PCB plus the battery fix from s/w side is in Kitkat OS. 5.) GPS does not work most often even in central bangalore it keeps searching for network. 6.) Network reception is another big flaw of lenovo. It keeps juggling between 3G and 2G Many a times you need to restart you handset to get network in place. 7.) Microphone creates an echo. My friends and family complained that the phone has some serious problem as the microphone creates an echo effect once in a while. 8.) Extremely overpriced as has a lot of defects which signify that the design itself is very sloppy. Pros:- 1.) Screen looks very good as has very good colors. 2.) Camera is brilliant. 3.) Gaming is very good but discharges in 2 hours of continous gameplay :(

Highly disappointing. Hanged twice in 15 days of buying it and now lying at service centre. hope they will give it back soon. funniest part they say your phone hangs because you use internet very often... so guys if you want to use net then go for other phones not LENOVO ..
