Ive been researching laptops for best part of half a year. I was so close to buying the Asus Zenbook flip 13" for £799 with i5. I don't know much about Ryzen at the time, but this laptop was launched just as I was ready to buy. So glad I change dmy mind last minutes they have shrunk the size down, removing the upward facing speaker so about an inch in width has come off making this ultra compact. I'm dying to compare it with a Spectre as I can't imagine it is any smaller so why you would now buy a Spectre I don't know, for a few extra ports? Anyway, I run after effects, premier, illustrator with no issues on this machine. Very cool to have all that power from such a small size. The pen is good, although I'm still getting used to it (not have the keyboard shortcuts available in illustrator in tablet mode takes some getting used to). It does have some weight (1.3kg) but this is the same as the spectre and Asus so seems to be the standard for ultra thin 2in 1s. If you are going to run after effects, the cooling fan does come on and the battery will not last long, I'd say about 4 hours, but then my MacBook Pro 15" (2013 model) had the same issue. It's great, I just wish you could magnetically fix the hp pen to it

Hey! I have been waiting for a review of this laptop to come out for soooooooo long! Which version did you get? Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7? I'm tempted by the R5 version because of student discount making it £720, but for an extra £180, it comes with R7, 16gb RAM and 512gb SSD. Being a filmmaker, I wanted something portable to work alongside my editing rig
