The Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct is Nintendo’s way of dispensing information on the shooter for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has scheduled a Splatoon 2 Direct presentation to remind you what to expect when the game hits on July 21. Considering the first Splatoon was on the Wii U, Splatoon 2 could end up being the first Splatoon game for many.

Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct time and date

The Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct start time is 7:30pm IST (3pm BST) on July 6. Typically, Nintendo Direct events have been on the shorter side, so don’t expect to be glued to your screen like it was Ubisoft’s E3 2015 conference.

Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct - where to watch

To watch the Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct, you can tune into Nintendo’s website. It should also be viewable on Nintendo’s YouTube channel.

Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct - what to expect

According to Nintendo, the Splatoon 2 Direct is where it would “share an in-depth refresher on the upcoming Nintendo Switch game.” This would include more details on some of its features, weapons, and styles.

With E3 2017 and past Nintendo Direct events showing off Splatoon 2’s new content, such as its single-player campaign, co-op horde mode called Salmon Run, and how you’ll have to use a headset for voice chat and game audio, we wonder if there’s anything new left to make public.

Perhaps Nintendo could use the time leading up to the Splatoon 2 release date of July 21 to announce another Global Testfire? We’ll have to wait to find out.
