Last week, Rockstar Games announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be seeing a new reveal. Previously, the company had said that the much anticipated open-world game set in the Wild West would be delayed to next year.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer is out at 11am ET on Thursday, September 28 (8:30pm IST on the same day). Unless there’s an early leak, which has been rare in Rockstar’s case, it’s safe to say that this will hold true.
With the game being delayed to 2018, we won’t be surprised to see actual gameplay and perhaps a reveal of its characters along with greater details of its setting. An overview of its content and systems wouldn’t be amiss either. Perhaps details on its much rumoured multiplayer?
According to a serial leaker, who was responsible for leaking crucial details about GTA Online’s updates and what to expect, Red Dead Redemption 2 might have a lot more in common with GTA V.
“It'll be just like Redemption. Single player story, open world, stranger events, gang hideouts and all that. Three playable members of John's former gang, and John isn't one,” the source posted.
However, the post from the leaker goes on to state the online mode that would “release later on, just like with GTA5”. If it showed up on day one, no one would play single-player and it would “crash the servers.”
