To commemorate 50 years of James Bond, Activision has unveiled a new Bond game titled 007 Legends. The game is out now across major retail outlets in North America and is scheduled for an October 19 release across Europe and will be reaching Australia on October 31.

Developed by Eurocom and distributed by Metro Goldwyn Mayer, 007 Legends is the latest instalment in the franchise. The first person shooter claims to offer a first-of-its-kind gaming experience that is inspired from five classic Bond movies namely Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill, Die Another Day.

Just as each of these films have come to define Bond's personality over the years, 007 Legends will allow gamers to embark on an adventurous journey from Bond's inception as a newly designated agent to becoming 007. The game features exotic locations and intense situations on multiple levels with access to the finest spy gadgets, weapons arsenal and some of the coolest vehicles.

007 Legends is built on the same engine as Eurocom's previous title GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. 007 Legends however, lays more emphasis on stealth-based gameplay.  Players will find themselves evolving through the game that requires Bond's quick wits, combat expertise, and stealth actions to take down his enemies.

Additionally, 007 Legends will also feature a sixth mission based on this year's highly anticipated Bond film, Skyfall, which will be available to unlock as downloadable content.

PlayStation Network subscribers will have access to the Skyfall mission on November 9 2012, the day of the movie's release in North America. Xbox LIVE members can get their hand on the mission on November 20, 2012. The Windows PC version of the game will be available on Steam on November 2 2012 while the Nintendo Wii U version is planned for a December launch.
