About Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Movie (2016)
The first installment of the Fantastic Beast film series as well as a prequel to the Harry Potter movies, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set in 1926 New York, seventy years before Harry Potter goes to school.
Deliberate dark deeds by someone mysterious pose a threat of exposing the wizarding community to American Muggles or No-Majs, who are determined on eradicating the ones with the magic. Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) arrives in the city to research and rescue magical creatures, some of which are safeguarded in his leather case. But, when some of Newt’s beasts are set loose in the city, the writer must fight all odds to find them.
