Radeon graphics, the I7 Core, 2 TB HDD, optical DVD and 16 GB of fast memory run SQL and office apps quickly, DB sorts are extremely fast and AutoCAD runs quicker than any previous laptop I've had. The 5500's high-precision touch pad is actually usable as an AutoCAD remote drawing device. I also run an array of radio digital encoding/decoding software and protocols locally which function lightning fast. I love the keyboard, display and sound. Nice!

I mostly just use this laptop as an expensive external hd with a screen. The amount of storage is great, but the amount of time it takes to do ANYTHING is ridiculous.

Just downloaded some torrent files, played farmville 2, For 15 days of heavy usage in browser and heavy wifi download usage , the in built wifi adaptor stopped working, now using with external wifi adaptor. performance is super , lCD monitor, super fast boot, finger print also working fine, SSD is super, while extracting zip files takes lots of time, As my point the hardware performance is not meet the processor/ssd performance.

Hard disk problem shows within short period from the date of purchase.

Just received this laptop two days back. I just used it for few hours and it crashed. Now everytime I switch it ON it gets hang on boot screen for forever. Can someone from Amazon can help me with this immediately as there is no option in App to return this item.
