Its an awesome tablet with a large screen. I got it within a few days because of high speed free delivery. I will upgrade this tab to android lollipop (preloaded kitkat) . I'm fully satisfied with this tab

I purchased it for reading books only. I have disabled all other all other applications (inbuilt applications and externally installed applications), and in that configuration it works well.Very good to use during the night.Good battery backup when you disable all useless apps and turn off WiFi when not in use. I charge it once in two days, use it for three to four hours daily for net browsing and book reading.

when i purchased this tab , many of my friends suggested me don't buy this product . but i purchased this tab and started to use this . it is very helpful for me . i am using this in my daily routine and its very nice tab . Datawind made a very good product us .

I needed a budget big screen tablet for net browsing,youtube streaming .This tablet is completed my all needs . Excellent product from Datawind . I purchased it for reading books only . I am totally satisfied with this product

I have been using this only as a e-book reader with pdf / mp3 / mp4 files. I have fully loaded 32 gb of these data. Excellent product from Datawind together with the superb service of Flipkart compels me to judiciously rate this @ 5 stars !!!!! *****!!!!!. BUT I have queries:- (a) I cannot read windjvu files even with its conversion software (b)when I load several folders with sequential numbers, they get shuffled inside the tablet. (c) Is there a way to simultaneously read the pdf files and listen to their audio which is loaded as mp3 ? Can Datawind answer my queries. ( wonder: tracking the shipment showed that it has taken a few hours to reach bangalore from delhi while it has taken more than 48 hours to get delivered within a prominent location in bangalore. )

The best feature is its low price . Its a very good device . I bought this product on 23.04.2014 and i have been using this regularly. Good battery backup when you disable all useless apps and turn off WiFi when not in use .good size and decent quality display, good for reading, browsing etc .

I will start my review by mentioning the A1 management by Flipkart. I placed the order on 16th April 2014 (7.30 AM). Product was delivered on 17th April (11.30 AM). I have purchased many electronic items from flipkart without any issue. But this time, the new Datawind tablet did not power on. I placed replacement request at around 9 PM same day. I got the new tablet on 19th April (12.30 PM). Hats off to the superb service of Flipkart. Regarding performance of the tab: I have purchased the same for just e-book reading and watching movies. So far, its performance is satisfactory. Standby battery backup is more than 3 days. I have tried using USB keyboard with the tablet which is working fine. However, when I connected multimedia USB keyboard with the tablet, it consumes 1% of the tablet battery per one line types in MS Word. The sound output of the tab is very low but I have purchased external and rechargeable portable speakers with high sound @ Rs. 150. I have also purchased the Vizio tablet stand @ Rs. 300 for convenience. Cons: I have tried searching for service centers of datawind on internet, just in case I need it in future, but was not able to find any in New Delhi. It would be nice if Flipkart provides a print out of the nearby service centers for the device along with the product. This may help a lot. Once again, I would like to say that shopping from flipkart is really free from any kind of worry and of course great time saver as well. Thank you Flipkart for such wonderful management.

well I din't expect much.All I needed is a decent tablet with basic functionalities and it stands inline with my expectations although the display's not impressive but not bad though.Dint check on games but given the sensitivity of g-sensor and lower ram,I dont think that will be a good idea.Still I like it.

Value for Money product, I have used it for a month so far I am satisfied It is great for light use, done expect to play heavy games on it.

I give it four stars because it solves my purpose. Before purchasing this tablet, please keep these things in mind: 1. I purchased it for reading books only. I have disabled all other all other applications (inbuilt applications and externally installed applications), and in that configuration it works well. 2. Earlier I installed Temple Run 2 and it worked well. The gravity sensor is not very good, so you have to keep the tablet vertical, or tilt a lot, for the effects to take place. 3. No Blue-Tooth is there. No SIM card can be placed. Device can be used in conjugation with Modem, but my 3G-WiFi Modem did not work (compatibility issues). 4. Interface is simple, I happen to like it simple. 5. Chrome is pre-installed, but becomes slow on opening more than 4 pages at a time. 6. It is convenient to hold in any orientation. 7. Very good to use during the night. Glares a little bit during day. Placing an anti glare screen-guard might fix the problem. Also, you have to place a new screen-guard the default one is very bad. 8. Adapter cord is short, which limits its convenience in using while charging. 9. Good battery backup when you disable all useless apps and turn off WiFi when not in use. I charge it once in two days, use it for three to four hours daily for net browsing and book reading. 10. It can be used to read the contents of up-to 32 GB flash drive, which is a good improvement in memory if the memory card is of small capacity. Inbuilt free memory is about 800 MB. 11. NO BACK CAMERA. Only front camera is there. 12. Keyboard and Mouse could be attached to the device for plug and play use. 13. Inbuilt Office App is good for creating and handling light documents (.doc, .ppt, .xls, .pdf). The best feature is its low price, because I do not have to worry a lot about losing it while traveling or working in my laboratory.

Value for money, good battery life,good working as far. but low speaker sound and icons on the tab are meant for smaller screen they looks like some how stretched. over all i got more than what i expected.

Its a pretty good device I just got mine on 4th December thanks to flipkart n I have also jus placed an order for a 2nd one. I bought it as a gift for my younger brother n he seems to enjoy it. Disadvantage of it is that there is no cover avalible for it and screen guard has to be modified to fit the screen.....processing time is minimal....battery issues are that it drains moderatly That is expected in android devices....and that camera is not that really great as it is just a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera

Though the display is poor but hd videos very well. Browsing is relatively fast and smooth. Dont go for this tab if you are looking to play games because graphics is pretty dull,even though it supports many high graphic games. Front camera may just do the job if you are looking for video chatting,but quality is relatively poor. Overall at 4300rs, u cant ask for more,and this tab is really worth the price i feel even if it runs perfectly for a year atleast. But yeah poor viewing angles if the tab is kept is horizontal mode. Pros: Fast and relatively smooth web browsing Satisfying youtube watching experience Big screen HD videos run smoothly Low price Good wifi connection (Have not tried dongles) Nice build quality Low and Mid end games run smoothly Cons: Poor viewing angles in landscape mode Poor front camera (it has no back camera) Poor graphics for games Display resolution is really low,zagged fonts No case is provided,even no headphone is provided Overall it is a pretty decent buy at this price. If browsing and watching videos is all you need,go for it, it wont disappoint you.

I bought this product on 20.04.2014 and i have been using this regularly. This is a basic table meant for simple applications and not for high end games. it is working very well for Internet browsing & e book reading. Video chatting is good but the volume is very low. Wifi is good & works well on internet dongle also Battery back up is good, u can use upto 5-6hrs easily for internet browsing. Working well for basic games, but lags when you load high end games. Overall value for money. Cons: Some times the battery charging status is not showing properly. Screen resolution is not high hence you may not be able to enjoy high quality videos. It has only one micro usb port...

A must Tab for students, beginners and book crazy. Nice look, moderate battery and great sensitivity. Should not expect too much for 9 inch Tab within Rs.5000/-. Only con I feel that while in use it cannot be charged. Still a great Tab for reading, surfing and lots more. Go get it.

I got this product for a gift to my nephew who is just 13 years old. The product looks better than other available options of its kind and price. There's misleading sentences in the description. " 3G support. " There is no Sim card slot in the device 3g Support is through usb dongle. The device doesn't calling facility.

Received the tablet yesterday. As pointed out by other reviewers here disabled most of the unnecessary programs. Display & speed are good. I am using this mostly as a book reader and for typing memo on the move. Preinstalled e-reader & office are good. Since the display size is larger and fonts & icons are larger, and nice to look and read without strain. I am yet to see the back-up time. Could have included a pouch since the tab is of a non-standard size, it is hard to get in the market. A value for money product.
