Coolpad Max review summary

Coolpad's first foray outside of the budget segment, the Coolpad Max, has high aspirations. It looks premium and feels good, and the specifications are pretty impressive. 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage are generous, but the SoC is a mid-range Snapdragon 617. The cameras are pretty good and battery life is also acceptable. The big feature however is a "private mode" which lets you encrypt private data and keep it away from prying eyes. This is a good phone for those who value looks and features, but performance-wise, you might be just as happy with a phone that costs much less. Read detailed Coolpad Max review
