First images of Nikon's Android camera leaked
The rumoured Nikon's Android camera might indeed be real, at least that's what the leaked images seem to suggest. Posted by weblog Nikon Rumors, these images are of a Coolpix series camera, possibly S800c, as reported earlier.

There are not many details available right now, but as you can see in the images, there a touchscreen panel (4-inch?) on the back of the camera showing Gingerbread era icons.

The blog is still suggesting August 22 as the launch date of this camera, so we don't have to wait much longer and hopefully we will have a clearer picture by tomorrow.

Other details, which we can take away from these leaked images, include a 4.5mm-54mm lens with 12xoptical zoom support.

This is not the first camera with Android on-board, Polaroid also showcased a smart camera with Android at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year and we have also heard murmurs of Samsung working on a device called Galaxy Camera, which will also have the Google OS.
