  • Thin & light with great performance.
Amazon Customer (Aug 7, 2020) on Amazon
Very thin and light laptop with ports like HDMI, USB type C thunderbolt 3 and Normal USB port (type A), it was great to see a LAN connector within the box. Also there was a connecotor for Type C to 3.5 mm jack for Headphones.

  • Solid 5 stars for medium level user
Mahendra (Oct 22, 2020) on Amazon
ProsLightweight, slim and good screen to body ratioDoes not heat on regular use (browsing, watching videos and running some programs)Good speed and future proof technology... Shall last another 5 years without issueSolid bodyThoughtfully designed keyboard with good key travelDisplay is goodConsFor a light to medium user (work 4 to 5 hours every day on browsing, video watching and running programs like javascript, python, or softwares like visual studio) this is a great laptop. For heavy users desktop is the right option unless one is ready to pay more or willing to loose compact design.Battery life is at least 4 times less (~5hours) than claimed by Asus. All in all user is paying for the slim and neat design on this one and this laptop is a good bargain in the slim and lightweight laptop feature segment.

  • Fabulous!
Bhargav Hegde (Aug 30, 2020) on Flipkart
Well after a lot of reviews and comparison I have decided to go for this laptop, let's start with pro Pro: 1) Face Unlock - This is not just a webcam, it is IR camera, meaning it will only unlock when it detects your face and you can't fool it 2) Audio - I really liked the speaker sound, bass is good. 3) Battery - Battery can easily last for about 7 hrs. 4) Display - As Asus claims this display has 100% sRGB gamut, it looks really good due to very thin bezels. 5) Touchpad 2.0 - Touch pad will also work as your num-pad, you can activate this by simply pressing a button and you can also adjust the brightness Con's: 1) Webcam isn't great, though it is just fine during good lighting conditions, gets blurry when lighting conditions get bad. Overall it is a best laptop in this segment, for your office and personal use, well you can go for it.

  • Terrific

Asus gets it absolutely spot on!!! I waited 12 months for this and shifted from my old Zenbook UX305FA to this.. Why I love Asus and stick to it? 1) Taiwanese entity. Most of world electronics is built by Taiwan: Foxconn & TSMC are Taiwanese. These people have tremendous craftsmanship. 2) Reliability: My old Zenbook survived 4 years of abuse. I use my machines in a pretty unsympathetic manner. My laptop once fell down one floor and it still worked for a year after it without any functional damage. That's incredible! 3) VFM: No other brand provides you more for your money than Asus does across the entire spectrum of their products. I use their phone, laptop, display etc. What I was looking for: 1)Thin & light: Laptop under 1.2kg since my old Zenbook weighed 1.1kg. 2) Thunderbolt 3 with display & charging since I work on big screens at home and work which support T3. 3) i7 10th gen. 4) 16GB RAM 5) Thermal efficiency: There's no point having all that power if your thermals are not good enough and you can't possibly utilise it because the laptop heats up. That's the problem with similarly spec Acer, MSI and even Dell laptops. The geekbench scores were significantly lower than the Zenbook. 6) Something under a lakh 7) No blingy gold design. I wanted a clean looking laptop in grey. 8) Battery life of 7-8 hours What I love about the UX425 1) Performance: I run 150-200 chrome tabs on 6-7 desktops in parallel along with Powerpoint and Excel sheets. Never shut down the laptop and it works flawlessly. 2) Battery life: I don't take the charging cable with to work. Because I can charge it with a normal T3 charger and because it works a good 8-9 hours with my workload too. 3) Keyboard & trackpad: My biggest issue with the earlier Zenbook was the trackpad and the keyboard. This is a 100 times better trackpad and what an amazing keyboard. 4) Aesthetics: It looks amazing and feels so much more premium than other ultrabooks in the range. What I don't like: 1) Needed one more USB port. I attach an external mouse and keyboard on my workstations and have to carry a USB hub every single time 2) The USB to LAN port supports only 100mbps. It is a major drawback because I'm paying for a 1Gbps connection and can only use 100mbps over a LAN cable!! 3) Could have been thinner 4) Bulky charger: The old gen Zenbook came with a Mobile Type single unit charger instead of a bulky two unit one. 5) Display brightness: I wish they launched the 450-nits display variant in India.. although the 300-nits matte display is good enough, sometimes you wish you could have more in outdoor conditions. 6) Asus recently announced 11-th gen version with Screenpad, under 1kg and MX450 graphics. Although it is priced at 1.25-1.3L, I don't like the fact that a month after buying a brand new laptop, there's another one on the block. Overall, this is too much value for 95k.. there's nothing else that comes close, quite honestly. The XPS is 1.3-1.5L, the Spectre is about 1.5L and the MSI & Acer laptops are not a match in performance. Just go for it!

Everything is perfectly done in this lappy. I felt sound could be a little higher and touchpad sensitivity can be increased a little bit.

  • Good laptop but with conditions apply*
    Azarudin Z M (Sep 24, 2020) on Amazon
Pros:Light weight, Good with processing speed, display,?.BUT:Bought this on last week in Amazon. Battery performance in this laptop is not up to the limit of Asus claims. It?ll never hold for more than 4hrs of continuous usage without internet. If it is connecting with WiFi that?s it drastically reduces. Thermal dissipation isn?t good. Once connected with internet it becomes like an oven within a sec of time.Hoping this would be resolved by something with upcoming updates but the laptop is up to date with updates also.Could someone help me on this, please

  • Good Laptop but Battery backup with normal use is max 12 hours
AKSHAY BHATNAGAR (Sep 1, 2020) on Amazon
The battery backup is not 22 hours but descent 12 hours at best. You can expect 8 hours of backup in general.Do not but the extended warranty from Amazon as its charging more than 2000 but if you buy directly from Asus it'd cost you around 1700

  • Poor Service from the seller
SP (Oct 13, 2020) on Amazon
    1. Product arrived 2 days late.2. There suppose to be a sleeve inside the pack, but it is missing. Despite several mail and telecon there is no proper response from the seller. AMAZON as usual is silent on this.3. I had issues with activating MS Office 2019. The seller tried to activate but in vain. The seller was not knowing what he was doing. But with my elementary knowledge I could activate the package but without Outlook .4. Description Claims !Design & battery: Up to 22 hours battery life; but then a disclaimer that "Note: Battery life depends on conditions of usage." My usage is very minimal average use open coupled of browser page and use MAIL app and the battery life of such use is not more than 4-5hrs.However the laptop as such is excellent, good performance, nice finish, but with the above issues I'm not satisfied overall. Hence I had to give single star for the services.
