India Funding Roundup: Ola, Quickli, TravelKhana, Licious, Furdo

Ola
China's dominant car-hailing app Didi Chuxing (formerly Didi Kuaidi) announced an undisclosed investment into Ola. Didi has previously invested in Uber's competitors GrabTaxi and Lyft, the new funding round will drive Ola's new car leasing program which will add 10,000 new drivers on its network.

Quickli
Gurgaon-based B2B delivery on demand startup Quickli has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from 500 Startups and some high net-worth individuals. Founded by Sudhanshu Aggarwal and Rohan Diwan, Quickli launched its services in April and currently operates in Delhi NCR region. Quickli has a pay per kilometre pricing structure and an app for Android.

TravelKhana
Delhi-based Travelkhana, an online food ordering service for train passengers raised an undisclosed round of funding led by Astarc Ventures and some high net-worth individuals. The funding is a bridge round to the company's Series A, expected to be of about $10 million, ET reported. The firm plans to expand its service to 400 train stations by the end of 2016.

Licious
Bengaluru-based online meat delivery platform Licious raised an undisclosed amount of funding from former Infosys Director TV Mohandas Pai. Licious does doorstep delivery of hand-cut, vacuum-sealed meat in 90 minutes, and offers a selection of fresh, marinated and cold cut meats.

Furdo
Bengaluru-based interior design startup Furdo announced that it has raised $400,000 in an angel round of investment from Bobby Reddy of Indus Homes Pvt. Ltd. Co-founded by Kiran Singh, Ishwar Sundararaman and Arvind Singh in 2015, the e-commerce platform helps new-home buyers 'Virtually Walk' in their interior designed homes and see it from every corner.
