Macbook pro is a very powerful laptop the thing that is the ssd and the thunderbolt port and touchbar that you get and if you do stuff like video and photo editing this is definitely for you. apple has improved the battery life which is good and the screen is nice and if you can afford this device then go for it.

Obviously, this laptop is amazing. I'm still getting used to the Touchbar. Very fast and the quality that I expect from Apple.Pros:- It's fast, it's beautiful and it Just Works?.- The Touch Bar is pretty neat (I'm still getting used to it)- USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) ports- If you are a non-Microsoft developer, once you go Mac you can never go back.Cons:- No power cord extender included for the price.- I'm not sure why they went with Radeon Pro 455 rather than Iris? I am not a hardware guy.- Given that it is USB-C, you will likely spend as much on adapters/replacement cables for this unit as you paid for it. However, USB-C is awesome. (Protip: You can buy knock-off USB-C cables, but I would recommend only authentic Apple chargers. I have cooked some batteries in the past using knockoffs)- No touchscreen support (which doesn't bother me because I'm a developer, but I know that it is a chief complaint among Windows users). I'd rather have a BASH prompt...Touchbar notes:Even though the Touchbar is likely here to stay, it does take some getting used to (which I will in time).- The escape key is now on the Touchbar, so your brain has to reprogram your fingers for that.- The Siri button is RIGHT above the delete key and very easy to bump, so you will be CONSTANTLY, accidentally hitting it and get derailed by her summons.*- The volume control is also on the Touchbar, which takes extra effort to adjust (rather than just having keys).As I said, I will get used to the Touchbar (and hopefully the Siri foul). It is an amazing laptop!

I am writing this review after using the laptop for 4 months. Suddenly the keyboard started giving problems like some keys not working, some typing twice, sticky keyboard and overheating. Many users seem to have experienced this kind of a problem.On top of this if you expect Apple service to fix this problem you can prepare yourself for the worst experience of your life. Unqualified staff and no customer satisfaction is all you get for this huge price. Do you know you might have to get rid of the laptop for 2 full weeks to get a problem fixed despite paying such a hefty cost for the laptop.Apple is not what it looks like and after buyingyou also need to purchase the apple care protection for an additional 2 years which costs around 25-30k and a bunch of cables/adapters. If you also want to install Windows you need another 8-15k.Is Apple really worth this huge cost of almost 3lakhs????? IN MY OPINION NO, DO NOT FOOL YOURSELF.

The product is defective and this provider is also unavailable and unhelpful. Waste of money

I purchased the laptop 7 months back. After two months the 'h' key stopped working and the service guys kept it with them for a month citing spare part availability. Again after using it for 1 month the same issue appeared and again 15-20 days they took for repair. Over the period of time I have lost faith in apple products and service. Recently all front speakers also stopped working and I was like wtf did I end up buying. I'm not sure if this is some defective duplicate machine as it heats a lot and has been giving me lots of issues. I recommend not spend 2 lac on this stupid machine.
